Lake Lodge Cellar

A thick wooden door at the bottom of the stairs opens to reveal a large cellar. Thick stone walls support the weight of the lodge above and keep the bins of vegetables and bottles of juice and wine at a constant, cool temperature. At the back wall, a patch of phosphorescent lichens yield dim light, sufficient to identify vegetable, yet not bright enough to distinguish color. A small alcove to the left of the door holds a small lamp at the ready.
