Upon opening the door, the rich smell of leather and parchment greets your nostrils. Ten foot tall bookcases with ladders on rails ring the walls, holding the collected writings of countless races and cultures. Stairs along the west wall lead up through five additional floors of books. Seven foot tall bookcases on each floor, also filled with books, create a multi-story maze of knowledge and literature. Occasional couches and chairs provide numerous places to curl up with a good book on a rainy day.
