Just off the cobble-stone street, silver-toned chimes call from the top of a circular gateway. The fresh scent of juniper, growing in a fragrant hedge to the right of the path, tickles the nose and your right hand as you travel along the walk. Wide, smoothed stones form an even walk about three feet wide. The walk extends about ten paces across a small open space smelling of juniper, grass, chamomile, lavender, and mint. You hear the faint sounds of water trickling down rock coming from somewhere ahead, and the burble of a small stream can be heard from the left of the walkway.
