Going Down, Down, Down

The walls that suddenly spring upward around you to turn the open landing pad into a chamber 40 foot square chamber and the sudden disappearance of the landing area markers indicates something has changed. Though you feel no sense of motion, you surmise that the platform must be descending into the hangar and maintenance area. At a relatively high speed, you would guess, as you see the ceiling closing 40 - 50 - 60 sixty feet above you.

You gaze to the floor, dwarfed by the sheer height of the room. You regard two shallow indentations,10 foot long and vaguely foot-shaped, and find yourself wondering what else might use this elevator... or whom.

The elevator continues to descend.
