This brooch, bearing strong Celtic influence, seems to remind anyone who looks at it of Aden, owing to the Pattern woven into it through a minor ritual by Mikkelus and Aden.

For a year and a day (from 19 May 2002) Aden will be able to hear the echo of a song of herself while wearing the brooch, giving her the equivalent of 12 extra points of willpower with which to resist domination or possession.

In the event something does manage to overcome the defense, all attempts to control an action are at -3.

Furthermore, Aden may attempt to possess the possessor, rolling 12 dice to take over. If successful, she has effectively captured the controlling mind and may hold the attacker as a psychic prisoner or boot it out of her mind.
