This is the Crossroads, a nexus with corridors extending in all directions as far as the eye can see. Centered in the middle of the crossing hallways, a compass rose mosaic points out the cardinal directions. An ornate staircase sweeps gracefully around the perimeter of the Crossroads, offering access to the upper levels.
