Back Door Entry

Once upon a time, this landing served as the connector between to the back yard and kitchen, with access to the basement and upper floors as additional options. With no kitchen on the ground floor, most of the traffic through the back door now goes upstairs or to the basement.

A peg style coat hook has been hung inside the back door, from which a couple coats and hats have been hung. Gardening boots have been placed on a floor mat. A broom hangs on a clip, and a couple of produce gathering baskets hang from large hooks.

From this entry, a door leads out to the back yard. A couple of steps lead up to the main level. More steps lead upstairs. Another set of stairs lead down into the basement.
