Tucked cozily beneath the rafters and skylights, something about the space here feels a bit more personal and lived-in than the rest of the building. If spending all day and night at work anyway, why not make work as comfortable as home?
The staff room of the apartment has been comfortable furnished with a futon couch, oversized double papa-san, and a pair of Morris chairs surrounding a low table. A compact stereo on a small bookcase plays a random selection of Celtic and New Age instrumental music. Unlit votive candles in holders have been strategically placed throughout the apartment, though sunlight pours into the apartment during the day. A Celestron compact telescope points up through the skylight.

A french door opens inwards, adjacent to the large bedroom. A baby
gate, easily opened by an adult, has been strategically positioned to block
something or someone from making
an uncontrolled descent down the stairs.
