This kitchenette is much smaller than most kitchens, but just as functional. The booth-style seating for four leaves just enough room for one person to be able to cook; anything within the efficiency kitchen can be reached by taking a single step. For its small size, however, it has just enough room for the usual kitchen appliances (microwave/convection oven, refrigerator, dishwasher) plus a home espresso machine... with a little counter space left over to work on. Cupboards, cabinets, and a pantry contain all the standard cooking utensils and place settings for eight.
The only doorway (sans door) leads back to the family room. An emergency escape ladder is tucked inside it's container at the window.
