A virtually unknown sweeper in a local football club, Mikkelus has not been in town long enough to have established anything like a claim to fame on the pitch. In the club locker room. however, he's know to his teammates for three things: most likely to volunteer to coach in the peewee football program sponsored by the local club, most likely to get hurt while coaching the peewee programs, and most likely to be found warming the bench on the injured reserve list after getting hurt coacing the peewee players. His speed and agility on the pitch are hallmarks of a potentially great sweeper when he's healthy and healed up; unfortunately, he doesn't stay healed and healthy for long. Curiously, all the injuries he has sustained seem to have been either coaching the peewee program or otherwise not related to the game.
To anyone who sees him working with youngsters, it's obvious that he adores the kids he coaches. By all accounts, the feeling may well be mutual, since "his kids" rarely miss a practice or a game. He attributes this affection to missing his younger brother and sister; he readily admits that his peewee team is his surrogate family.
