Bath

The bath is dominated by the soaking pool and the mixing sluices to fill and regulate the pool temperature. A washing area can be found in the adjoining recess, complete with a rope-operated overhead rinse and buckets of sweet-sand for cleansing. Stone risers carrying hot water serve as heated towel holders and drying racks, with thick terry-cloth towels at the ready beside a wooden robe-tree. A carved stone basin, fed by antique brass faucets, tops a simple stone vanity. A stone privy, with a constant stream of water running through the bowl to keep it rinsed and odorless, completes the decor.

Doors exit to the north, south, and west.
