Hallway

After heading a short distance north, the passageway turns left into an eight foot wide hallway.

Flameless torches cast a comfortable glow on the hall. Rough-cut timbers, wattle-and-daub walls, and time-worn flagstones combine to give this hallway a pleasantly rustic feel. The faint scent of wood smoke, evergreen trees, and cedar combine with the distant splash and burble of an unseen mountain stream, suggesting an intimate mountain hideaway.

The way back to the entrance lies through the archway to the east. The sound of water through the archway to the north. A door to the south is closed, but not locked.
