This kitchenette is much smaller than most kitchens, but just as functional. The corner booth wrapping around the table offers storage and seating for four around the sides and back of the table, with a matching bench seating two more. With careful planning, there is enough room for four people to sit and one person to cook... as long as the bench is pushed under the table and nobody else tries to stand up or enter the kitchen.
Anything within the efficiency kitchen can be reached by taking a single step. For its small size, however, it has just enough room for the usual kitchen appliances: a gas range/oven with microwave/convection oven on top, small refrigerator/freezer, sink and drain-board, and a tiny washing machine. Cupboards, cabinets, and a pantry contain all the standard cooking utensils and place settings for four.
The only doorway (sans door) leads back to the living room.
