This procedure scans the host for the presence of nanites or nanobots, returning a value of
true or false. Filters can be applied to the scan parameters to search for the
presence or absence of a specific type of nanite or nanobot.
Life sense detects the presence of nanites; matter detects the presence
of nanobots.
