By massaging the injured area for a few moments, the healer has the ability
to accelerate the body’s natural healing processes. At the end of the
minute, the player rolls for the effect. If the player
succeeds, the subject is considered to be treated by a “highly skilled physician
(4 + dots in Medicine)” for the purposes of healing times. If
the player scores more than 3 successes, the subject also recovers a point of
Willpower.Note that this procedure is generally coincidental. It has no
immediate effect on health level.
