Sorry, there's no easy way around it. Reaching into the body of a person and removing a handful of cancerous, mutated, or infected tissue is just plain messy. Except in certain rare cases, a person doing this without the benefit of using some sort of surgical instruments to make an incision is going to get a lot of attention, most of it being entirely the wrong sort. And, unless you're using something normally associated with making an incision, doing field surgery without benefit of instruments is probably going to be considered vulgar.

For the brave or desperate, however, psychic surgery can effectively treat diseases. Typically, the healer simply places his hands against the subject’s flesh and concentrates; in some cases, blood may well out of the flesh or the healer’s fingers may appear to dig into the body itself. At the end, the heal is typically left with a handful of bloody tissue. The process takes 10 minutes times the toxin rating of the disease.

Although (hopefully) restored to full health, the subject must still recuperate after this procedure. To determine recovery time, use the number of successes applied as the “Lethal Health Level” that the patient is currently at. If three successes were needed, the patient would still need to recover as if she were at Injured.

Entropy allows the healer to locate the foreign or diseased cells within the body.
Life removes those diseased or injured cells from the body, so that the body itself can heal normally.
