Some sources suggest that Dr. Vagus volunteers time and services to the Central Park Medical Unit. Since the medical and training records contain protected information, CPMU does not release the personal information of the volunteer staff.
As a matter of public record, a Dr. Mikkelus Vagus lectures and demonstrates advanced medical techniques at the University Hospital in Syracuse, New York's only Level 1 trauma center. Certain memorandums of agreement suggest that he may work on a rotating basis at centers throughout the CNY TraumaNet, primarily to make up staffing shortfalls. Whether this is the same Dr. Vagus lecturing and demonstrating similar advanced medical techniques in LA has yet to be confirmed.
Other accounts whisper of a sinister grey-robed figure moving through shadows of the 75th Precinct. Unimaginable things have been happening to people in East New York, nightmarish and unfathomable violations for which no name exists, and these unspeakable horrors seem to have happened near places where the grey-robed figure has been seen. The relationship between nightmares in the precinct and these grisly crimes has yet to be determined; while no definite connection has been made between the arrival of this figure and the onset of these crimes, there were no such crimes before the grey-robe figure arrived.
