Some beings have absolutely no sense of empathy. They flail about, injuring those closest to them and giving little heed to the suffering they cause. While a few may be so dead inside as to be beyond caring, others are simply unaware of the consequences of their actions. Being afforded the opportunity to take back the pain that they have caused, experiencing it for themselves, tends to be a very educational experience for those prone to abusing others.

This slightly sticky mixture, resembling strawberry soda, transfers the injuries from the body of another living creature with but a touch. Once smeared on the hands, any successful touch of an injured person results in an immediate link forming between the two, with injures or illness transferring at the rate of three health levels per turn until the mixture is exhausted.

Depending upon the success of the brewing, up to six health levels may be transferred before crossing ethical boundaries becomes a consideration. This measure has proven equally effective as an education/awareness tool, in healing the physical damage done by an abusive spouse or parent, and as an effective deterrent to incidents of further physical abuse.

Naturally, both the recipient and the target must have physical bodies for Restitution to have any effect. Due to physiological and biological differences, Restitution may not be used to heal spirits or the undead. Touching oneself has no effect.
