So, after all the hype, I've survived. I went to sleep in a strange room, had strange dreams, and woke up, back in my own room. Evidently the procedure, whatever it entailed, went smoothly. At least if there were any complications, I don't recall anything about them.

And for all of that, I can't say that I feel much different. I certainly don't look any different when I look into the mirror. My vison occassionally blurs when I look at people, their images shifting in ways that I have a hard time describing. I start to get impressions of something, but then my eyes start to water.

They claim that it's normal. Normal for them, perhaps? My eyes have never given me any problems, before. I'm not sure what they did to have changed that. I am certain that I don't much like it!
