The actions we sow come back to us: some threefold, some fivefold, and some sevenfold. Unfortunately, the karmic wheel takes time to turn; knowing that the misguided soul tap-dancing on your skull will eventually get back the same is not much consolation when your face is getting caved in. Looking for a less vulgar means of dealing with assailants than sending them to their karmic reckoning, this defensive rote returns the damage done directly to the attacker, usually appearing as an ackward blow or otherwise fumbling a weapon.
Note that this rote, as do others of the "karmic retribution" variety, precludes the use of offensive actions or magicks. ANY attack or offensive action taken while under the protection this rote, whether or not that attack succeeds, negates any protection offered.
Life and Correspondance redirect damage back to the attacker's body
Life, Correspondance, and Forces establish a classic "FOR-NEXT" loop, simultaneously returning the damage done three to seven times.
