The east bank trail extends along the river Cong from the stone bridge at Ashford castle to the village of Cong. A rather substantial bridge crosses the Cong, the east bank to the west bank here, allowing foot traffic, bicycle traffic, and horseback riders access to either the east bank trail or the west bank.
