The Ashford Equestrian Centre  is open to the general public for horseback riding and riding lessons, as might be expected from the name.

In addition to horses, however, the centre also caters to a variety of other outdoor activities: archery, clay pidgeon shooting, bike rentals and guided tours, archaeological tours, kayaking, water skiing, and powerboat charter, to name a few.

Reservations are strongly recommended.

A service road leads to the southwest. A bridle path curves around to the northeast.
