Originaly a schoolhouse when the castle was owned by the Guiness family, this cottage has been renovated as a 'self catering' cottage available for weely rentals.

Tthe staff at the old schoolhouse alos offer professionally guided fishing trips, boat and equipment rentals, and fly fishing instruction.

Reservations are required.  

A riding (or walking) trail leads just a bit east of northeast. A service road leads towards a tower to the east. Another service road leads to the northeast.
