A gentle, ever changing succession of lilac, magnolia, jasmine, lotus, and moonflower lightly scent the fresh air. Occasionally, a faint tang of wood smoke touches the senses, and lingers amongst the quiet call of birds and insects.
A vast green savannah surrounds the pavilion, stretching to the horizon in all directions. The lush blades tickle bare ankles with their cool and feathery touch. From branches nearby can be heard the occasional sleepy murmur of unseen creatures, aware of yet undisturbed by the activity on the grass.
The tall grasses stretch out as far as can be seen. Wandering into them,
away from the pavilion, away from unfamiliar territory and landmarks, would be a
good way to get lost.
